Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a video game based on the film of the same name. It is a first-person shooter with elements of hand to hand combat in third-person perspective. A version was released for the Game Boy Advance on November 18, 2003 it was an isometric shooter. A puzzle game was also released for mobile phones. The game was also going to be launched for GameCube but was canceled for that console.

The video game follows the movie's basic story faithfully. Despite this, there are some inconsistencies in the game's cutscenes. For example, the terminator is seen driving the RV (this leads into some "future" levels) and next he is driving the veterinarian van again.

The game utilized both the likeness and the voices of the movie cast. Arnold Schwarzenegger claimed he very rarely voices characters in videogames but, he felt the game did the movie justice.
